Back to School: My Favorite Planners

As July is coming to an end (can you believe it?) and August is rolling around, it is now back to school season. And to kick it off, I am going to share some of my favorite planners for school. I love planners because I am a visual person and I know that if I don’t write something down, I am likely to forget it. In high school they provided us with planners that I used to jot down assignments, tests, appointments, birthdays, etc., and I want to continue doing that in college in order to stay organized. So keep reading for some of my favorite picks:

Lily Pulitzer

This is a very popular option- I see tons of girls in class with these planners. I don’t blame them, these planners are very colorful, come with stickers, and even has a horoscope in it. There are different sizes and designs available, but i would prefer the medium size, not too big, not too small.
What I liked: there are monthly tabs, because some planners put all of the months at the front so when you want to jot down an appointment you have to keep flipping to the front (I know, #firstworldproblems), and they offer free shipping
What I didn’t like: the larger planner is kind of pricey $40, and I wasn’t a fan of the weekly layout

May Designs May Book

This one is cool because you can personalize the first page with your name or initials and even choose the design you want on the front. I would have bought this one, but the only, thing stopping me was the weekly layout, and the way that it’s binded together. Instead of having the coiled spine, it’s like a book, and I know that over time some of the pages may come out just from bending it open so much

Erin Condren

Another very popular option, but very pricey as well. This planner is great because it is a life planner so it includes to do lists, pages to track your weight loss, calendars, weekly spreads, etc., but I’m just a student and I know that if I bought this I wouldn’t use half of the pages, so it would be a waste. However, I can definitely see myself using this in the future.

Plum Paper Designs

Last but not least is Plum Paper designs, which is the one that I ordered. This in an etsy shop that sells all different types of planners and agendas.
What I like: You can add your name to the front cover and for $5 you can add in your classes. There are also a lot of different patterns and colors so you can choose whichever is your favorite.
I did not like: there is a long processing period (about a month) so I won’t get mine until right before school starts. So if you buy this over the summer it shouldn’t be a problem, but if you need something right away, you’ll need to get something else.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and stay tuned to my back to school series because there may be a giveaway!!!
