When it comes to personal branding, people usually only think about the visual elements like a logo, brand colors, and font choices. But I am here to tell you that while all of that is necessary, it is equally as important to have a strong strategy behind your brand. It’s similar to that phrase, “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.” If your brand doesn’t have a clear position, it’s unclear what you’re trying to do, who you’re trying to reach, and what value you bring to them. For example, let’s say you are looking for someone who can provide landscaping services for your home. You come across a website, and a woman lists all of her services which include landscaping, cooking, and tutoring math to high school students. You would be less likely to hire her than you would someone who has pictures of their landscaping services, tells you about their expertise, and tells you how they can help you. This is not to say that you can’t be interested in more than one thing, you that you can’t offer more than one service, I am saying that you need to make your purpose as clear as possible so people can easily recognize what value you bring them.
If you find yourself in a situation of not knowing how to pinpoint your mission, or if you have a personal brand and are not sure how to convey that value to others, you and I need to talk. Together, we can come up with a plan that gives you the clarity and the focus you need to strategically execute your brand and reach the people you want to reach. After our weekly coaching sessions, you’ll leave with tangible and intangible assets that will take your brand to the next level. Sound good? You can sign up here
